Fortuna Elite Club is a club in Dublin where people play sports Mafia, meet each other and spend an evening in good company. We have been meeting regularly since 2025, and the club is part of the Fortuna Community.
Why we do this
Sometimes you want a place where you can come dressed up, play, talk to interesting people and leave feeling the evening was a success. We are building that place. Mafia is perfect for it: around one table, strangers become acquaintances very quickly.
What we play
We play sports Mafia, the social deduction game. It is a team game of attention, logic and persuasive speech: ten players and a host, the red team against the black team. The club's rules are based on the rules of FIIM, and the details and learning materials are in our Academy.
If you have never played, that is fine. The rules are explained in ten minutes before the first game, and everyone starts from zero.
Who comes
Adults from Ukraine and other countries, students and families. Usually 20 to 30 people come to an evening. Teenagers from 12 come with their parents' consent: see the page for teens and parents.
Themed evenings
Besides regular games we hold themed evenings with a dress code. Our own format is called Irish Mafia: costumes, flat caps, waistcoats and a different kind of game. Its rules, roles and strategy are published in the Mafia Game Academy.
