How to listen to the first speeches
Why this matters. The first round gives hypotheses, not answers. It is important to tell facts about behaviour from interpretations.
What to do. Write down: the number; whom they called red; whom they called black; why; whether they nominated anyone; whether they changed position. After each speech, formulate one question that tests the logic.
How it sounds. "Player two, you called number five black. Which specific action of number five led you to that conclusion?"
Practice. Watch three short speeches and fill in a table of positions.
Typical mistakes. Confusing a loud voice with a black card, or remembering only the last speaker.
