How to nominate a player

Why this matters. A nomination is a separate formal action, not just a spoken accusation.

What to do. At the permitted moment of your speech, say the number clearly and use the nomination formula set by the host. Check that the referee has accepted the candidate. Take the rules on repeat nominations and the order of voting from the current rulebook.

How it sounds. "I nominate player number seven for the vote."

Practice. Rehearse with the host five correct nominations and five phrases that are not nominations.

Typical mistakes. Assuming that "I am against seven" automatically counts as a nomination.
