Don: looking for the sheriff
Why this matters. The sheriff is dangerous for the black team because their checks are reliable, but hasty conclusions can give the don away.
What to do. Note who defends a player unusually confidently, changes position sharply after the night, or asks to check a particular person. These are only indirect signs. Compare them with the checks available to the don.
How it sounds. "Player seven defends four after the night; maybe they have information, but that is not proof."
Practice. Go through five behaviours and pick out the alternative explanations.
Typical mistakes. Taking every hint as the sheriff giving themselves away.
