Gestures and non-verbal signals
What to do. Separate pointing at a number, an assessment of colour and the report of an exact check. There is no universal vocabulary that every club must use. In practice, agree the meanings and the permitted phase in advance.
How it sounds. A player shows number 6 and a conventional sign for black. The learner must clarify: is this an assumption or a check?
Exercise. Make a table: gesture, meaning, permitted phase, risk of being misunderstood.
