The black team's first agreement
Why this matters. The "agreement" is the short meeting of the three black players on the zero night, when they agree a plan. It is not a free discussion out loud: communication is done with permitted gestures in the time given.
What to do. Fix the numbers of the three black players, who the don is, the order of the night targets and a backup plan. The don shows numbers that everyone understands. Each partner repeats the order in their head. Leave complicated dynamics for later games.
How it sounds. By gestures: "First target is 6, second is 2, third is 9; repeat the order and confirm you understand."
Practice. Three learners get 20 seconds, then each independently writes down the three targets; the answers must match.
Typical mistakes. Giving a code that is too complicated, forgetting the order, or mixing up a player number and a night number.
