Rating and the referee's review

The rating is not the same as the probability of winning and must not reward lucky guessing. Unconfirmed coefficients are not used in it.

What to record

The date of the game; the line-up of the table; the role; the team; the winner or a draw; the fact of taking part; the referee's remarks; official penalties; the history of results. Confirmed events can be recorded separately: checks, public reveals, votes, the loss of leaders.

Team points

Points for a win and for a draw are assigned only after the scale is approved separately. Until then, the results of games are published without points.

Individual assessments

If the club decides to award points for strong strategy, the criteria must be checkable: what exactly the player did, whether the action was allowed, how the referee records it and whether an appeal is possible. Points must not be given for a "correct prediction" without a rule of assessment.

Penalties

Breaches of the speech rules, gestures, voting procedures and discipline are counted under the club's official Sport Mafia rules. There are no separate penalty amounts for Irish Mafia.

Transparency

The team result, the individual assessment and disciplinary penalties are shown separately. After approval, the rating rules will state the formula, the version and the date it takes effect.

Further development

After enough games have built up, analyse by role: the frequency of wins, early eliminations of the Sheriff, the effect of two checks, the success of reveals, outcomes after losing leaders. This is data for improving the game, not automatic proof that a strategy works.

The referee's review

Rules and strategy

A breach of the Sport Mafia rulebook is not the same as a strategic mistake. Do not penalise a wrong hypothesis.

Statistics

Keep the role, the team, the result, the day of elimination, the checks, the time of reveal, the votes, the night targets, the matches of shots and the final line-up.

Points

Do not introduce unconfirmed coefficients. A team win and an individual assessment must be kept separate.

The club's Sport Mafia rating is kept separately, and its rules are published on the page Club rankings.
